The Social Media Content Producer will work collaboratively with the Digital Media Team and the Radio Programming Team to write, produce, guide and develop Social Media content and strategies across multiple Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, etc). Social Media content will include the promotion of radio station initiatives (91X, Z90, Magic 92.5 and 100.7 BIG FM) and a variety of concerts/events around San Diego.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You will be required to interact with listeners, colleagues and clients on a daily basis; in-person, on the phone, via email and text message.
Ability to work well in a team environment.

This is a radio station and there are many eclectic personalities you will be working with!
Multitasking and adhering to tight deadlines is a must!
This is a fast-paced environment and things can change at a moments notice. You must have the ability to be flexible.
Experience with photography and video.
We create a lot of video content and take lots of pictures! You must have an excellent eye for framing photographs and be able to proficiently set up and operate a DSLR camera. Experience with lighting and audio is a plus.
Must have working knowledge of Photoshop, Lightroom and video editing software.
Flexible with hours.
You will be working for a group of radio stations – we are on-the-air 24-hours a day, 365-days a year. Although most of our work is conducted during normal business hours, on occasion, you will be required to work on evenings and weekends.
Trends, best practices and analytics
The Social Media industry is a moving target. It’s imperative that you stay up-to-date with trends and best practices. Understanding and organizing Social Media analytics is also required.
- Must have at least 5-years of experience in the Digital Media industry
- Photography, video and Social Media portfolio required
- BS/BA or work-experience equivalency required
